Meeting Whisper is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app monitors your microphone input level to provide real-time feedback when you speak too loudly during meetings. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

• No audio recording: The app processes audio levels in real-time but does not record or store any audio content
• No personal information: We do not collect names, emails, or any identifying information
• No usage analytics: We do not track how you use the app
• No network requests: The app does not connect to the internet and makes no network requests whatsoever
• No third-party services: We do not integrate with any analytics, advertising, or data collection services

Microphone Access

Meeting Whisper requires microphone access solely to measure your speaking volume. The audio signal is:

1. Captured in small buffers (1024 samples)
2. Processed immediately to calculate volume level (RMS to dB conversion)
3. Discarded - no audio data is retained

The app runs entirely on your device. Audio data never leaves your iPhone.

Data Storage

Meeting Whisper stores only your preferences locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults:

• Volume threshold setting
• Sensitivity setting
• Haptic feedback toggle
• Visual feedback toggle

These preferences are stored only on your device and are not synced or transmitted anywhere.

Background Operation

Meeting Whisper operates only in the foreground. When you switch to another app or lock your device, audio monitoring stops completely.

Children’s Privacy

Meeting Whisper does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
